Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Software Testing Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools and a passion for teaching and mentoring aspiring software testers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-depth training on software testing concepts, techniques, and tools, including manual and automated testing.
- Develop course materials, including tutorials, assignments, projects, and assessments.
- Conduct live training sessions, workshops, and webinars for students or corporate clients.
- Mentor and guide students to solve real-world testing challenges and apply best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest testing tools, technologies, and industry trends.
- Assist in the certification process by preparing students for software testing certification exams (e.g., ISTQB).
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in manual and automated testing methods.
- Hands-on experience with popular software testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, QTP, TestRail, etc.
- Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python) used in automated testing.
- Experience with test case management and bug-tracking systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of [X] years of experience in software testing.
- Prior experience as a trainer or educator is a plus.
- Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) preferred.
