Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a fresher, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and analysis. You will work closely with developers and other team members to identify and resolve issues, contributing to the continuous improvement of our software.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures (manual and automated).

- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.

- Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and provide feedback on product quality.

- Perform regression testing, performance testing, and other types of testing as needed.

- Assist in the creation and maintenance of testing documentation.

- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings as part of the Agile development process.

- Learn and apply industry best practices for software testing and quality assurance.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Basic understanding of software development and testing methodologies.

- Familiarity with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, etc).

- Knowledge of testing tools and frameworks are a plus (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Preferred Skills

- Internship or project experience in software testing or development.

- Basic understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
