Software Test Engineer

Job Description

Understand the business need and give independent inputs on the testing strategy / test planning.

Ability to understand functional/technical specifications and analyze data and server logs

Define test strategies for assigned applications with minimal guidance from the test manager. Estimate daily testing tasks for assigned projects with guidance from the test manager.

Analyze and understand requirements should be able to create high level scenarios.

Create end to end test scripts. Test application by applying different testing techniques. Log defects for all/ any of usability, UI, functionalional and database issues.

Good understanding of SDLC,STLC and defect life cycle and test processes.

Good in test reporting. Good in manual and Automation testing Good working knowledge of automation tool, preferably Java selenium, PostMan, Jmeter

Performance load and API testing using JMeter

Looking for candidates with good experience in BDD frameworks

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in Web and mobile application testing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical and process-oriented mindset
• Comfortable working across multiple teams in a deadline-driven environment
• Active team player, self-starter, and multitasker who can quickly adjust priorities
