You will be part of Magnetic Resonance Imaging is a leading supplier for 1st line screening technology in hospitals. MRI is one of the youngest and most innovative imaging technologies and is growing in applications but also in complexity of the system. Philips MR is No: 3 in the market with aspirations to become No:2 in the coming years. The current revenue is
- 5 billion euros. It is the most suitable technology for soft tissue imaging due to its non-invasive character. Also, the imaging of neurologic and cardiovascular structures is of key importance for our MRI products.
MR R&D Bangalore owns >80% of MR Software, catering to MR Console (Workflow, Review & Post Processing), Service, MR Reconstruction & Physics, MR Methods developing Clinical Applications, Clinical Science doing research, MR Therapy, Computers, OS, Automation, Analytics, V&V and SW Program Management Office. The MRI Software department also works in close collaboration with the Marketing, Service and Applications organizations in order to implement the requested functions.
You are responsible for:
Responsible for Design and Development of MR Reconstruction platform.
Analyzing & understanding requirements from an end user perspective and translating it to design.
Performs the role of a specialist by reviewing work products
Owns and deliver assigned modules along with the team
Supports in project estimation, planning and risk management activities
Provides guidance in the technical/ functional area
Mentor others in the software engineering concepts.
Analyzes and understands the Software/Functional Requirements Specification
Performs unit testing of the code.
Contributes to Features/User stories for modules/SDS /Test strategy
Provides technical guidance in a technical, functional/domain area and participates in technical decisions
Creates (detailed) design within specified top level design
Participates in peer reviews for project artifacts and ensure the quality of deliverables
Supports in project estimation, planning and risk management activities
Manages technical communication with Partners
Keeps abreast of technical developments in own field through study, technical contacts and propagate it
Acts as a role model for other technical members in the group
Advises Scrum Masters on the composition of the team required to complete the job
Guides and coaches the project team in technology as and when applicable
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
B.Tech/M.Tech Degree in CS/EE/IT
6+ years of software development experience
Experience in developing high performance computing applications on Windows platform
Good understanding of the healthcare domain (imaging, workflows, Integration, verification)
Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audience.
Strong analytical skills including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusion.
Intrinsically motivated, excellent communication & presentation skills.
Quality-conscious mind-set with First time right approach.
Shall demonstrate eagerness to learn and grow.
Flexibility / Ability in defining the activities and items needed in a subject matter.
