Within the Digital Energy division of Schneider Electric, Microgrid LOB is responsible for providing solutions that allows C&I customers to design, build, operate and maintain their distributed energy resources in grid or off grid connected mode delivering cost predictability of their energy use, resiliency, and sustainability leveraging SE connected IOT hardware, software, and services. Microgrid LOB works closely with their partners in other divisions of Energy Management BU, Sustainability Business Division, and Innovation at the Edge.

About This Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner to join our Enterprise Software product team in Microgrid LoB. This role will be based in Bangalore, Karnataka.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Technical Product Owner (TPO) is responsible for the product features from concept to End-of-life
- Work with development team to ensure that they understand the vision for the product and are inspired and motivated to deliver innovative and exciting solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency
- Works with architects, product managers and development teams to ensure that business, quality and functional goals are met on time with each product release
- Understand both the engineering and business side of the product release and is ultimately responsible for representing the end user's needs
- Develop and maintain a prioritized backlog of user stories to ensure that the team is working on features that maximize business value
- Collaborate with product architect(s) and product managers to translate business requirements into user stories for the development teams to implement
- Work with scrum master and technical leads to estimate the user stories and decompose them into actionable development tasks, and determine scope and priorities for individual sprints
- Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally, and as a key technical contact for queries related to the product
Qualifications
Qualifications - Technical:
- BE/BTech/ME/MTech (Computer Science, Telecommunication, Electronics, Electrical, or Engineering in any other relevant field) or MCA
- Work experience of minimum 10 years in software product development
- Should have good knowledge of JAVA, React JS, Node JS, HTML, CSS, Springboot, Hibernate, micro services architecture and containerization
- Hands-on Scrum / Agile experience of 5+ years in product development will be highly valued
- Certified Scrum Product Owner certification is a plus
Qualifications Soft skills:
- Good interpersonal skills with written and spoken English. Must be able to communicate clearly within the team and with external stakeholders
- Good leadership to convince and negotiate right solution within the team and business stakeholders
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Should be able to work in a global cross-cultural environment
- A good work ethic, along with high energy and a positive attitude, high degree of self-organization
