SOFTWARE SYSTEM DESIGNER 2

THE ROLE:

This is an exciting role in which you will have excellent exposure to all the latest AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) technologies. Imagine yourself as part of the team which will deliver our next generation of our products or automation for many of our reference solutions. This is a phenomenal opportunity to work in an outstanding company like AMD.

THE PERSON:

The person should have hunger for understanding newer technologies and willing to take the untrodden path. The candidate should be able to coordination with cross functional teams and achievement of schedule commitments. You have excellent communication and presentation skills and a passion to push the limits of software on innovative platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with the leads to understand the testing requirements and test plan, responsible for the developing of test automation
• Be involved in the automation of manual test cases and work closely with automation infrastructure.
• Responsible for quality and performance timeliness of result for a portion of project/process.
• Responsible for the installation and maintenance of the test harness on various platforms
• Should possess good analytical skills to help root cause the issue detected during testing

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Strong expertise in python scripting language
• Good knowledge of high-level languages i.e. C/C++ (desirable)
• Strong expertise of OS internals - Windows/Linux
• Good knowledge of the product development lifecycle, system test process and exposure to SDLC
• Good interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Master's/Bachelor's Degree in Electronics/Computer Science or equivalent stream with 2-5 years of experience in software automation
