Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the India market.
- Conduct market research to understand client needs and competition.
- Get the sale using various customer sales methods (Cold calling, presentations etc.)
- Evaluate customers skills, needs and build productive long-lasting relationships.
- Meet personal and team sales targets.
- Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads.
- Attend meetings, sales events and training to keep abreast of the latest developments.
- Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data.
- Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory.
Sales Strategy:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Forecast sales, develop out of the box sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the sales team to drive overall company sales objectives.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key decision-makers.
- Understand client requirements and tailor solutions to meet their needs.
Product Knowledge:
- Stay informed about the company's software solutions and updates.
- Articulate the value proposition of our products to potential clients.
- Deliver compelling and engaging sales presentations to clients.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of our software solutions.
Negotiation and Closing:
- Lead negotiations, address client concerns, and close sales deals.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth sales process.
Sales Reporting:
- Provide regular updates on sales activities, progress, and forecasts.
- Utilize CRM tools to maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records.
Requirements:
- IBM, Microsoft Sales experience is preferred
- Should have software sales experience for a minimum of 3 years.
- Create Leads and sales pipeline in CRM
- Create opportunities, forecast weekly, monthly, quarterly.
- Work with software vendors on weekly cadence call.
- Close monthly sales and achieve targets.
- Create marketing awareness on solutions & services.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships and contribute ideas for new solution accelerators by providing key market analysis & data.
- Experience in selling Software licenses & services.
- Good communication skill in English (both verbal and written)
- Affirmative email writing skills
- Updating the sales report in CRM
- Candidates from Kochi is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Master s in Business Administration is preferred.
- Proven experience in software sales, with a successful track record.
- Understanding of the software development industry and market trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Results-driven and self-motivated.
- Familiarity with the Kochi business landscape is a plus.
