Our software company is expanding its global coverage and seeking an Inside Sales Executive to join our team. We're looking to build a local sales presence in India with this full-time, permanent remote position. We're particularly interested in candidates based in India who can help us grow our market in the region.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new leads, communicating with prospects, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process for our innovative software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a robust sales funnel by generating leads through email, virtual meetings, and other lead generation activities
- Develop a deep understanding of our software products and target markets in India
- Identify customer pain points and requirements, correlating our solutions to meet their needs
- Handle inbound leads and convert them into clients
- Qualify leads by identifying key decision-makers and understanding their requirements
- Manage appointments for introductory calls, product demos, and follow-ups
- Research market trends across the region to inform sales strategies
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations to encourage product trials and drive sales
- Maintain and update the lead generation database in our CRM system
- Achieve monthly sales targets as set by the business
- Upsell products and services to existing clients
- Stay informed about competing products and services in the region
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus
- 2-5 years of experience in software sales, preferably in SaaS or B2B environments
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) in English; proficiency in regional languages is a plus
- Strong listening skills and a positive, energetic phone presence
- Experience with lead generation, cold calling, and closing deals
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Google Suite
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Experience in the retail sector is an advantage
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed
