Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through comprehensive testing and analysis. Your primary focus will be on designing and executing test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with the development team to drive product improvements. As a QA Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality software that meets customer expectations.
nResponsibilities:
- nDevelop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements and specifications.
- nConduct functional, regression, and performance testing to validate the software's functionality, usability, and performance.
- nIdentify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking systems, and collaborate with the development team to resolve them.
- nPerform manual and automated testing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of software applications.
- nCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand software requirements and provide feedback on potential issues.
- nParticipate in design and code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
- nAnalyze test results, generate test reports, and provide recommendations for improving software quality and performance.
- nStay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve testing methodologies and tools.
- nContribute to the development and maintenance of testing frameworks and test automation scripts.
nRequirements:
- nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with 4 to 8 years relevant experience in Automation testing .
- nProven experience in software quality assurance and testing, preferably in a software development environment.
- nStrong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- nExperience with manual and automated testing techniques and tools.
- nProficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- nFamiliarity with testing frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- nSolid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- nExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- nAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
nPreferred Qualifications:
- nISTQB or other relevant certifications in software testing.
- nExperience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- nKnowledge of web technologies, databases, and APIs.
- nFamiliarity with version control systems, such as Git.
- nExperience with performance testing tools, such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
