Kenvue is recruiting for a Full Stack Software Engineer Cloud Native, to be part of a forward-looking, innovative, and outcome-minded team of software professionals that build platforms and applications for our consumer health business, enabling the future of healthcare in the digital world.
As a skilled, hands-on technical member of the Software Engineering organization, reporting to the Software Engineering Manager, this role will be responsible for revolutionizing the way we build, test, and release products that fuel our business at its core, by inventing, implementing, and activating solutions that drive rich unique digital experiences for our consumers and employees. This role lives at the center of the product-centric model and delivery of digital ecosystems and will provide expertise to implement software engineering standards, policies, and solutions in a multi-cloud, modern event-driven architecture. This role blends a hands-on, engineering passion that craves novel approaches to solving problems, and a strategic perspective that collaborates with partners across the enterprise and externally to create solutions that enable and accelerate high performing teams across the enterprise.
What is expected of you
- Take an active role in software development, design, architecture, requirements analysis
- Lead, in collaboration with our partners, implementations of solutions according to the defined Reference Architecture and Code Standards
- Execute and deliver into production features and tools for various product initiatives
- Ability to function as part of a team and be a key collaborator in the team.
- Have a keen interest in the Consumer Health landscape, with focus varying between Commercial, Supply Chain, R&D, and Corporate.
Education and Certification:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on technical engineering and software development experience is required.
- Experience with API design and development
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
- Experience with CI/CD development pipelines and test automation
- Comprehensive knowledge of databases, experience with GraphDB preferred.
- Understanding of micro-service/micro-frontend design (12 Factor) leveraging Javascript /Typescript/Python/REACT
- Experience with Open Source technologies/communities
- Experience with container-based deployment on Azure and AWS
- Experience with Kubernetes including setup, security and monitoring
- Experience with development of secure code
