Exp:4-6 Years(Relevant)
Minimum Academic Qualification: Bachelor's in computer engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
Years of Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in embedded firmware development.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Firmware development experience.
- Design and develop device drivers for various hardware components
- Develop and maintain low-level design documents, and adhere to SRS, SDD, and various compliance standards.
- Lead the porting of the ThreadX Operating System and develop the OS Abstraction Layer.
- Implement a secure bootloader for Over-The-Air updates.
- Collaborate with the team to develop application logic and business logic, ensuring multi-threaded functionality.
- Conduct system-level integration, risk assessment, and testing.
- Participate in code reviews, risk assessments, and cybersecurity reviews.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience in embedded systems firmware development and microcontroller.
- Experience with SDLC documentation
- Strong in C/C++ programming languages.
- In-depth knowledge of firmware development, bootloader, memory management, and secure coding practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in Compliance based project development
Desirable Skills:
- Experience of working on FDA compliant produces
- Experience in RTOS
- Experience in Code Review
- Familiarity with medical device development and regulatory standards (FDA, IEC 62304) and safety standards (e.g., EN 60601-1)
