Software Engineering Senior Analyst
Position Overview:
The job profile for this position is Application Development Senior Analyst, which is a Band 3 Senior Contributor Career Track Role.
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to drive our software development efforts in creating high-quality technology solutions. The ideal candidate will understand systems requirements, produce clean code, and ensure successful delivery of software solutions aligned with business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy technology solutions to meet business needs.
- Write clean code to support project delivery on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with other team members at the scrum team and Agile Release Train levels to deliver features and user stories.
- Collaborate with program and business stakeholders to understand the origin and reasoning behind requirements and identify key capabilities to ensure successful product delivery.
- Continuously develop knowledge of emerging technologies and support the pursuit of business development opportunities.
- Understand established architectural decisions, CIGNA technical standards, governance processes, and defined software delivery methodologies.
Qualifications:
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with Informatica
- Experience working with techniques and strategies for how to validate, clean, and transform large amounts of data in transit
- Experience working with data warehouses and data lakes
- Experience working with Oracle PL/SQL or Postgresql
- Experience working with the Python programming language preferred
- Experience with data modeling and database design principles
- Experience with query optimization and performance tuning
- Experience with version control systems, GIT desired
- Experience with agile methodologies and/or safe
- Knowledge of AWS and AWS Glue
- knowledge of database concepts such as packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, Dynamic SQL, External tables, Exception handling, Triggers, Cursors, Ref Cursors
- Ability to drive db design for projects
- Ability to work in a complex environment with various positions such as tech leads, release management, and security teams
- Excellent problem-solving skills
