Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager with a proven track record in building scalable products and innovative platform offerings. This role requires strong technical expertise, and the ability to drive the development and implementation of our groundbreaking products. As the Engineering Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to define, plan, and execute our product strategy, ensuring the highest levels of quality, performance, and scalability.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Overall 14+ years of software engineering with 3+ years in managing engineering team.
- Strong experience in software development technologies in designing & building enterprise SaaS applications, mobile apps, software design patterns and deploying platform offerings.
- Technically hands-on experience with iOS app development, Web technologies, React JS, Node/Express JS, AI, Python, Machine Learning, SQL, MongoDB.
- At least 3+ years experience in leading mobile/web development from conception to completion.
- Demonstrate software engineering excellence through actively coding, pairing, and performing code and architecture reviews with the software engineers within the product line.
- Knowledge of Containerization & Orchestration including Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices architecture, working with Application Integrations using RESTful web services.
- Experience in Cloud-based platforms and services such as Azure (preferred), GCP and/or AWS.
- Innovate and operate with an iterative, agile and user-centric perspective.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and engineering best practices.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the development of innovative platform offerings, including architecture, design, and implementation.
- Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable products by managing resources, priorities, and project timelines.
- Act as a liaison between the technical team and other stakeholders, including clients, to ensure alignment of project requirements and priorities.
- Work closely with Product Management, Design, and other cross-functional teams to define product requirements and drive the product development lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress and identify any potential risks or blockers. Take proactive measures to address issues and keep projects on track.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, design specifications, test plans.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the development process.
