nBilling Data Mediation Team is seeking a talented Software Engineering Manager to support the key Growth initiatives, technology transformation projects at Sabre. This position will be responsible to participate in user sessions, understand business needs, translate company goals to the teams efficiently, guide/mentor the team, conduct timely performance reviews. This person will report to the Billing Data Mediation Dev Sr Manager.

nAt Sabre, were passionate about building software that solves problems. In this role you will manage a team supporting Convergent Mediation, BOBJ, BODS, HANA, GCP applications. In this role you will monitor snow requests/projects requested by Sabre users in above mentioned applications and monitor them for successful completion.
nRole and Responsibilities:
nParticipate in discussions with business leads, gather and understand the requirements
nCollaborate and coordinate with cross functional teams to implement new billing models
nTranslate the business needs into proper goals within the team and set reasonable timelines
nDemonstrate creative, strategic thinking and problem solving; able to exercise independent judgment in a highly complex environment
nEncourage high coding standards, using best practices and high quality
nRegularly interacts with subordinate supervisors, architects, product managers, HR, on matters concerning projects, or team performance.
nRequires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from others in sensitive situations, without damage to the relationship
nProvides technical mentorship and cultural/competency-based guidance to teams
nProvides larger business/product context. Mentors on Convergent Mediation application
nDemonstrate excellent verbal and written communications skills with technical and non-technical clients
nConduct timely performance reviews and mentor the team members
nAbility to work with Project Managers, team leads to provide KPI reports to supervisors on a regular cadence.
nQualifications and Education Requirements:
n8 or more years of experience leading a successful team
nExperience in handling multiple projects concurrently
nExperience in SaaS applications such as JIRA, Service Now Kanban, Rally
nExcellent written and oral communication skills
nStrong troubleshooting, problem solving and analytical skills are an absolute must
nProven track record of willingness and interest in learning new tools and technologies is necessary
n2-3 years of experience in designing, developing and deploying workflows in SAP Convergent Mediation
nSolid understanding of BRIM architecture including Convergent Charging, Convergent Invoicing, Billing and Revenue Innovation Management, Subscription Order Management
n5 or more years of experience in database design, scripting
nGood understanding in any Cloud technologies such as AWS/GCP etc
nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
