We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead the development of our data-centric marketing technology products. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), identity resolution, cookie-based tracking, and data governance. You will manage a team of engineers working on modern marketing technology solutions that enable nonprofit organizations to leverage cutting-edge technologies for personalized marketing campaigns and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers in developing CDPs and other data-centric marketing technologies.
Drive the design and architecture of scalable solutions that handle large amounts of customer data.
Oversee the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring adherence to modern, sound engineering practices such as Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps principles.
Develop and maintain core systems related to identity resolution, cookie management, and tracking user behaviors across multiple platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, data science, and marketing, to define and execute on the product roadmap.
Implement and optimize solutions using AWS services, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
Foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the engineering team.
Qualifications:
Proven experience managing software engineering teams, preferably in the marketing technology or advertising technology industries.
Expertise in Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and experience working with identity resolution and data governance technologies.
Deep understanding of cookie-based tracking, privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), and how they affect modern marketing technologies.
Strong proficiency in AWS services and infrastructure, including S3, Lambda, Redshift, DynamoDB, and EC2.
Experience with modern SDLCs, including Agile development, test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across departments and influence technical and business stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have:
Experience working with Snowflake, BigQuery, or other cloud-based data warehouses.
Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks such as PHP,Vue.js and Laravel
Knowledge of serverless architectures and microservices design.
