nDigiCert is seeking to hire a Software Engineering Manager based in our Bangalore office. As a Software Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of software engineers to design, develop, test, and deliver high-quality software solutions. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, leadership skills, and project management capabilities to ensure the successful execution of software development projects.

nWhat you will do

n- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of software engineers.
n- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
n- Provide guidance on technical issues and contribute to skill development within the team.
n- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define technical solutions.
n- Ensure the team follows best practices in software development, coding standards, and testing methodologies.
n- Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of reliable and scalable software solutions.
n- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
n- Promote technical and operational achievement by developing measurements and methods for evaluation and advancement.
n- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including product managers, other engineering teams, and upper management.

nWhat you will have
n
n- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
n- Proven experience (15+ years) in software development and team management
n- Proficiency in programming languages (Java) and a strong grasp of software development principles.
n- Knowledge of both relational (MySQL, MariaDB) and NoSQL/non-relational (Cassandra) databases
n- Knowledge in containerization with Docker and container orchestration utilizing Kubernetes
n- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and address complex technical issues.
n- Familiarity with Automation Framework and Performance testing
n- Familiarity with agile software-development methodology, such as Agile or Scrum
n- Preferred experience with Git, JIRA, IDEs (Eclipse, MS Visual Studio)

nNice to have
n
n- Familiarity with the latest trends or technologies in the field.
n- Understanding of SSL/TLS, PKI, and other security-related technologies is a plus.
n- Experience working with Cryptography API
