The Day-to-Day
- Be both highly technical and an effective people manager
- Managing the Software engineering team.
- Drive roadmap creation and execution.
- Finding solutions to major business challenges by translating challenges into requirements and designing and developing customized systems in an agile environment
- Build and maintain Kafka stream applications that interact with data stores such as MySQL, Mongo DB, and Redis and use CI/CD pipelines like Jinkins, etc.
- Practice best-in-class coding standards and design practices
- Serve as a mentor to the team, guide them with best practices in design, development of our products
- Participate in architecture and solution design while also recommending and implementing architectural modifications
- Be an expert Scala developer and continue to build a strong knowledge base of Akka framework
- Implement world-class coding standards and software development processes as consistency and readability in code development are critical for us
Your Background
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with 15+ years of experience
- Experience:
- Proven experience in managing teams
- Proven experience working with remote teams
- Product engineering in developing products
- Knowledgeable in Scala and Java languages
- Knowledgeable in using Microservice, Akka, Kafka Streams, Kafka brokers, zookeepers, Spark, ELK
- Experience in designing Multi-threaded applications, distributed and systems design, cluster computing, stream processing - joining, aggregation etc., design patterns, state machines, clustered partitioning, JVM machines, garbage collection, etc.
