Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain highly scalable microservices within all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) on Microsoft Azure
- Establish, refine and integrate CI/ CD, feature testing automation, performance testing as needed
- Identify production and non-production application issues
- Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications, public cloud infrastructure cost, best cloud practices, scalability, high availability
- Provide technical leadership, design and code review, serve as a mentor to less experienced Developers
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Graduate or Post Graduate in Computer Science or Engineering or Science or Mathematics or related field with 7+ years of experience in executing the .Net projects and 5+ years of experience in .Net Core, Angular, REST and Azure , SQL
- Cloud Certification, preferably Azure
- Experience to work closely with other functions to understand customer needs and to develop product roadmaps
- Good understanding of Infrastructure as code
- Knowledgeable with principles and techniques to solve technical problems
- Demonstrated ability to envision the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements and be able to define technologies, patterns and frameworks to materialize it
- Demonstrated ability to design and develop the framework of the system and be able to explain choices made Also write and review design document explaining overall architecture, framework and high level design of the application
- Demonstrated ability to create, understand and validate Design and estimated effort for given module/task, and be able to justify it
- Demonstrated ability to define in-scope, out-of-scope and taken assumptions while creating effort estimates
- Demonstrated ability to identify and integrate well over all integration points in context of a project as well as other applications in the environment
- Demonstrated ability to deliver professional level technical work in support of the development of company products, tools, platforms and services, typically for an external customer or end user
- Demonstrated ability to operate within established methodologies, procedures, and guidelines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- Senior Software Engineer I Position with 8+ years of hands-on technical experience in the .Net and Cloud technologies
- Experience with developing, implementing, monitoring and troubleshooting applications in the Azure Public Cloud Working knowledge of executing the projects in the Agile Methodologies
- Experience developing REST based web services and OAuth flows
- Experience in Health care industry
- Experience with developing applications for Azure and Azure resources like Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage and Message Queues
- Experience with NodeJS Angular UI Single Page Application (SPA) development
- Knowledge of Cloud-based architecture and concepts
- Solid proficiency as a Software Engineer utilizing .NET core and C# to support as well as design, develop and deploy requested updates to new and existing cloud-based services
- Solid knowledge of build/deployment/unit testing tools
- Solid knowledge of JSON
- Proficient in UI development with an Angular Single Page Application (SPA)
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement web services with security
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement database schema
- Demonstrated ability to design and development of well documented source code
- Demonstrated ability to develop both unit testing and system testing scripts that will be incorporated into the QA process
- Demonstrated ability to automate all deployment steps with infrastructure as code (IAC) and Jenkins Pipeline as Code (JPaC) concepts
- Demonstrated ability of POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements
- Proven excellent verbal, phone, and written communication skills
- Proven highly motivated team player and a self-starter
