- At least 6-7 years of relevant experience in designing and implementing software solutions, using Apache Kafka.
- Experience and deep understanding of event-driven architectures, including hands-on experience in managing Kafka platform.
- Solid understanding of Site Reliability Engineering principles and methodologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Strong technical background with a focus on software development principles and practices.
- Writing quality code both frontend and backend and concepts like code reviews, pull requests, unit testing and tools and techniques supporting this.
- Experience in Agile and DevOps
- Knowledge of automation and enablement technologies, such as Git, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps

You also have an experience of:
- Familiarity with Strimzi for managing Apache kafka on Kubernetes.
- Understanding of Kubernetes or other container orchestartion platforms.
- Backend development using Java, javascript or Go
- Experience in observability and telemetry using Grafana, Prometheus, Elasticearch.
- Experience in alert integrations, deployment management tools, access management (such as Keycloack, Oauth), and cloud platforms like AKS and Openshift on-prem is higly desirable.
- Working with relational databases using PostgreSQL
