In this role, you'll work on the Linode API on our Compute team. You'll work closely with the Cross-functional teams to accomplish new and exciting infinitives. As a Software Engineer Senior, you will be responsible for:

• Researching, proposing, and integrating relevant open-source projects based on product objectives for our stakeholders.
• Providing technical expertise, proposing system designs, solving problems and leading your team.
• Working in an environment that fosters innovative solutions, rapid development cycles, and open communication.
• Improving internal processes and systems on a consistent basis, showcasing effective communication.
• Mentoring engineers through knowledge sharing, coaching, and training.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 5+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Have hands-On with Python3 and any RestAPIs based modern web development frameworks like Flask, Django, FastAPI.
• Have working experience with RDBMS like SQL, Postgres and ORMS like SQLAlchemy.
• Have excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills, code reviews, design reviews while being a good team player.
• Have a solid understanding of CI/CD, Docker, Networking, Security, X.509 Certs, Linux and testing practices.
• Edge over others would be knowledge with any JavaScript based frameworks with HTML, CSS, TypeScript.
