Software Engineer - QA Regression

• Work in a fast paced team to solve important customer problems
• Work closely with engineering teams (Infra/Dev/Test) to understand the new features/products
• Develop required infrastructure to execute automated suites to validate product capabilities in every release
• Maintain automation suites to ensure quality via continuous functional regressions
• Collaborate with development and test teams to identify and report issues found during regression testing
• Contribute to a culture of constant innovation and continuous improvement
• Build in-depth knowledge of Alkira s Cloud Networking Platform

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• 1+ years of experience in technical roles in QA Regression
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins
• Proficient in Linux environments and capable of scripting in Python, Bash/Shell, or similar languages
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with standard TCP/IP protocols such as ARP, IP, ICMP, TCP & UDP
• Good understanding of Automation frameworks

Good to have:

• Experience or Good domain knowledge with cloud-based deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP or OCI preferred)
• Good understanding of networking products like routers, switches, and firewalls
• Familiarity with Virtualization technologies - QEMU/KVM, VMWare ESXi, Containers like Docker
• Good knowledge in networking protocols like BGP, IPSec
• Experience with RESTful APIs
• CCNA/JNCIA Certifications is a plus
