We are looking for a dynamic and enterprising Software Engineer for Oracle-NetSuite team in Hyderabad location. As a software engineer, you will help us deliver our market leading product that powers many of the world's largest ERP. You will assist in defining, developing, and releasing quality software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging, designing and testing of software applications. Ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to apply technology to solve real business problems. You should be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical constituencies. Above all, you will demonstrate a clear ability to create robust, easily extensible solutions for our customers.

Career Level IC2

Experience/Skills

  • B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/M.E. or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in developing software products with good exposure to software quality assurance processes
  • Familiarity with various software programming techniques and software development tools is a must.
  • Experience developing JavaScript based single page applications using Web-Services and JavaScript libraries.
  • Experience in Java Projects
  • Experience in Selenium script development and API automation preferred.
  • Skilled in integration approaches and strategies
  • Advanced HTML skills: HTML5, CSS 3, XHTML, JSP would be an added advantage
  • Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting, debugging and analytical skills
  • Experience as a member of a scrum team is a plus

Career Level - IC2

  • Develop, troubleshoot, debug software programs while also ensuring quality of these through effective automation testing approach.
  • Create prototypes, write unit test scripts, and deploy solutions to different deployment environments.
  • Test the application and build automated tests to exercise different aspects of the applications.
  • Take ownership of the issues logged by customers and come up with root cause analysis and solution of issues reported.
  • Translate user requirements into technical solutions.
  • Resolve development / troubleshooting solution issues and get final delivery done according to time constraints.
  • Execute, maintain, and review the results of existing automated tests, filing issues, and fixing tests as necessary. Create automated tests for new features being developed.
  • Follow quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality.
  • Analyze code coverage reports and implement new code to cover untested areas of product.
  • May need to mentor new team members, and take responsibility of sprint and release commitments, impediment resolution, handling escalations.
  • Provide occasional support to new team members.
  • Focus on quality and application performance.
  • Follow the SCRUM framework & methodology requirements laid out by the team.
