Looking for a Data Gog Engineer for a 6 months project for our US client. Contractors/ Freelancers can apply if they are skilled on following tech stalk-

Schedule/Working Hours: 5 pm- 2 am IST
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
The overall objectives of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Review and analyze existing Datadog configurations, including metrics, dashboards, logging, and alerting.
Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to enhance monitoring effectiveness.
Develop and maintain documentation for Datadog processes and configurations.
Define and implement alerts to the appropriate teams and alert templates via Teams & email.
Create and maintain dashboards to visualize key metrics and identify potential issues.
Configure and tune alerts to ensure timely notification and appropriate escalation procedures.
Managing SLI's, SLO's and SLA's using Datadog.
Managing Automatic Self remediation code and associated Alerts Reporting on number of times each of such triggers fire
SME for Dev and QE Capable of mentoring teams and setting definition of done standards for monitoring and measuring.
Provide guidelines and Support engineers in instrumenting code for DD
Support teams in troubleshooting and cross correlation to identify root cause
Qualifications:
Candidate must have:
4-6 years of proven hands-on experience with Datadog, including configuration, dashboards, and alerting.
Experience setting up, configuring and maintaining Application Performance Monitoring, in addition to VMs, PaaS environments and containers (AKS).
Experience with log shipping and tagging within DATADOG.
Experience creating and maintaining customer dashboards within DATADOG.
Strong understanding of monitoring principles and best practices.
Strong understanding of Cloud terminology and Azure components, as well as containers.
Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Bash, Python).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Be a strong team player.
Show flexibility under changing conditions.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Fluent in English, both written and verbal
Nice to have:
Good Experience in python, shell scripting, Unix etc. is a plus.
