Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain configurations and customizations of Zuora applications to meet the evolving needs of Business.
• Actively act as domain expert when it comes to our SaaS billing platforms and their capabilities, features, restrictions, and standard methodologies.
• Partner with internal users and stakeholders, assisting with data analysis, business process mapping, reporting needs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage timely and accurate delivery of financial systems configurations.
• Maintain proper system access for user roles ensuring compliance with segregation of duties.
• Responsible for the change management and release process of Zuora Billing, Zuora Revenue as and when required.
• Effectively collaborate with teams of Engineers and QA Analysts to ensure all aspects of projects are built and tested as they're expected.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Zuora/Similar tools Billing and Revenue administration, configuration including 3rd party integrations in complex environments.
• Experience supporting Zuora/Similar tools Billing modules: Customers, Product Catalog, Subscriptions, Billing & Invoicing, Payments, and Taxes
• Experience working in Zuora Billing administration: User access, HTML/PDF templates, Custom fields, Notifications/email templates, Workflows and Reports
• Experience working in Zuora sandbox including deployment across multiple tenants.
• Experience working in Zuora APIs
• Experience working with SaaS billing tools, ideally Zuora Billing, Razorpay, etc.
• Experience with program/portfolio management toolsets (JIRA/Confluence)
• Good communication skills both verbal and written effective communication, proper documentation, optimized meeting management
• Recognizes the importance of continuous improvement and finding opportunities to improve current practices in order to increase the quality and decrease risks/timeline
• Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline (MIS, IT business/computer science and/or Accounting)
• Open to receiving constructive feedback and willing to improve/change
• Great Teammate: Collaborate effectively and successfully with internal and external team members to accomplish shared goals

Bonus points if you have

• Experience with Zuora Revenue, Razorpay, Marketo
• SQL and data analysis skills are preferred but not required
