Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Manual and Automation Testing Engineer with a strong background in test automation using Katalon Studio. The candidate should have 4-6 years of professional experience in both manual and automation testing, with the ability to design, develop, and implement robust test strategies for complex applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and execution of manual and automated test cases to ensure the quality of software across web and mobile platforms.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain test automation frameworks using Katalon Studio.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing in alignment with project requirements.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to gather requirements and refine test strategies.
- Troubleshoot defects and coordinate resolution efforts by working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure automation scripts are integrated into the CI/CD pipeline, maintaining test coverage as part of the continuous delivery process.
- Conduct performance testing and API testing as needed, ensuring applications meet reliability and efficiency benchmarks.
- Mentor junior testers and provide technical guidance on test automation best practices.
- Contribute to the test planning, design, and reporting processes, helping define key metrics for tracking quality.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 4-6 years of experience in manual and automation testing.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Katalon Studio and other automation tools (e.g., Selenium).
- Solid understanding of test automation frameworks, scripting, and best practices.
- Experience with API testing (Postman, SoapUI) and familiarity with web service protocols like REST and SOAP.
- Proficiency with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with a good understanding of SDLC.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo) for automated test execution.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to mobile automation testing using Katalon Studio.
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms like AWS or Azure.
- ISTQB Certified or similar certification in testing.
