Position Summary...
Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales. About Team and Position Summary:
The International Markets team contributes to key global eCommerce sites Walmart Canada, Walmart Mexico and Walmart Africa. We work on technologies that intersect a wide variety of business models for grocery, general merchandise, and the warehouse format. Our focus is to build a continuous, seamless, omni-channel customer experience across physical stores, eCommerce, and mobile commerce, that is unique to Walmart and sets us apart from our competition.

What you'll do:
Design, build, test and deploy cutting edge solutions at scale, impacting millions of customers worldwide. Provide technical leadership, guidance and mentorship to a small group of highly skil ed and motivated engineers.
Interact with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community.
Engage with Product Management and Business to drive the agenda, set your priorities and deliver awesome products.

You will also have to provide technical leadership and mentoring to a small team of highly talented and motivated engineers to deliver these solutions with highest quality.
What you'll bring:
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree with 3+ yrs. of experience in Computer Science or related field
Strong computer science fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, databases, operating systems, etc. Extensive experience building services using back-end technologies (Java, Spring, Jersey)
Knowledge of databases like Oracle and NoSQL databases such as Cassandra/CosmosDB
Experience with Apache Kafka, Kubernetes
independently analyse the requirement with product , design ,code and deliver at scale.
Knowledge of standard tools for optimizing and testing code Agile Methodologies experience
Knowledge and experience in cloud native platforms like Microsoft Azure
Experience in distributed/scalable systems
Experience in designing, solving problems in highly scalable and complex systems
JAVA, Spring, Cassandra, Oracle, Kafka, Cosmos.
