BASIC FUNCTIONS:
This position performs advanced research, design, and software development assignments within the front-end domain. The role requires expertise in modern web technologies and frameworks, with a focus on creating efficient, scalable, and user-friendly web applications. The position demands the ability to work independently on complex tasks, solve intricate problems, design program flow, implement effective coding practices, and conduct thorough unit testing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience with a focus on front-end technologies
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience required
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Expert proficiency in React, including advanced concepts and best practices
- Strong experience with Node.js for front-end tooling and server-side rendering
- Advanced knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+)
- Expertise in state management solutions (e.g., Redux, MobX, Recoil)
- Experience in developing and maintaining component libraries
- Proficiency in working with design tools like Figma and translating designs into code
- Strong understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience with modern build tools and module bundlers (e.g., Webpack, Rollup)
- Proficiency in CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS) and CSS-in-JS solutions
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and SEO best practices
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library)
- Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for front-end projects
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Design and develop high-quality, scalable front-end solutions using React, TypeScript, and related technologies
- Collaborate closely with UX designers to implement visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces
- Develop and maintain reusable component libraries to ensure consistency across projects
- Implement state management solutions to handle complex application states efficiently
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to best practices and coding standards
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex front-end issues across various browsers and devices
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability
- Work independently on assigned tasks while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team's technical growth
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment
- Contribute to technical discussions and architecture decisions for front-end projects
- Ensure proper unit testing and integration testing of developed components
