Responsibilities
We are seeking a talented Oracle Financial Techno-Functional Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical and functional expertise in Oracle Financials modules to support our clients business needs. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions that align with our clients financial objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze business requirements related to finance, accounting, and reporting processes.
- Configure, customize, and enhance Oracle Financials modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and Oracle Projects.
- Develop technical solutions, customizations, and integrations using Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, BI Publisher, and Oracle Application Framework (OAF).
- Design and implement Oracle Financials setups, configurations, and security controls to meet business requirements and ensure compliance.
- Provide expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 architecture, data models, and integration points with other modules and external systems.
- Conduct unit testing, system integration testing, and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and stability of implemented solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including functional designs, technical specifications, test plans, and user manuals
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve issues encountered during implementation and post-production phases.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of project milestones and deliverables.
- Stay updated with Oracle EBS releases, patches, and new features, and evaluate their applicability to enhance existing solutions.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance and support as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 7-10 years of experience working as an Oracle Financials Techno-Functional Consultant.
- Strong expertise in Oracle EBS R12 Financials modules and related technologies.
- Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, BI Publisher, and Oracle Application Framework (OAF).
- Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles, processes, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical and functional issues.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Oracle certifications in relevant modules or technologies (optional but preferred).
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Financials modules (optional but a plus).
