Software Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

Min 3 years to Max 6 years of experience in Supply Chain management/Demand/Capacity planning domain with Kinaxis hands on experience.

IT product owner to manage application process changes & developments.

End-to-end responsibility for projects, services and maintenance

Understand the business needs, conduct requirement analysis and prepare project proposals.

Plan, lead and support projects in alignment.

Perform Kinaxis Solution design, deployment and run activities.

• Knowledge on various integration activities in Kinaxis Rapid Response, including:

a. Configuring Data Sources and Mapping between various systems and Kinaxis RR.

b. Development of source and destination field mappings

c. Data Model customizations

d. Provide logic & specifications for extraction of data from source systems to Kinaxis

e. Providing the logic and scheduling system tasks for the data update, data extraction and

synchronization process between DIS and PS post any transformation activities in Kinaxis

RapidResponse.

f. Interact with ETL teams to ensure cleansed data comes into Kinaxis RapidResponse in

the correct format

g. Data Validation in Staging Tables

h. Know when to use NetChange Vs Full Imports

i. Setting up tolerances for files and tables and monitoring data updates

j. Tracing data issues with respect to historical files

k. Knowledge on best practices to be followed during migration of changes from one

environment to the other via RPK/IPK

• Monitoring system memory consumption


• Develop design approaches and recommendations to meet specific


• business requirements


• Understand the Data flow(Inbound/Outbound) and Automation


• Activities to adapt existing business method and procedures to create possible alternative solution to moderately complex problems.


• Design, build and configure Rapid Response system to integrate with ERP System.


• Work with users and Business Process owners to develop solution to meet the business need.


• Develop Workbooks, Dashboards, Scorecards, Task flow, Scheduled Tasks in Rapid Response.


• Perform Data model changes and Configure control settings to optimize the Planning.

• Experience as an administrator for setting up users with the required permissions based on


• the rolls


• Experience as a system & data administrator responsible for managing system performance.


• Responsible for configuring global settings for the RapidResponse system
