About the role

This is an opportunity for a Founding Software Engineer to join our team. As an engineer, you'll be working next to our co-founders on the implementation of its core product and supporting customer development

The ideal candidate is a product-minded software engineer, has a good attention to detail, possesses a strong foundation in Python or willing to learn (our primary backend language), and has keen interest in gaining practical experience working with clients and founders directly.

What you will do

• Build new data integrations in our existing platform
• Enhance existing integrations by building new features
• Build and maintain the existing core stack
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Troubleshoot and debug issues and ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of the platform
• Wear multiple hats as part of a growing startup

You'll join our high pace growing tech team and we expect you to be fully independent while collaborating closely. Our tech stack is composed of: Python, Tornado, MongoDB, MariaDB, Helm, k8s, RabbitMQ, React, Github, Github Actions.

RequirementsPreferred skills

• 3+ years experience with backend development with proficiency in Python or a similar language, demonstrated through previous projects or work experience
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Docker Compose, k8s
• Proficiency in using the command line for development and troubleshooting tasks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and able to work effectively in an asynchronous environment
• Capable of working independently and managing priorities while also being open to collaboration and support as the team grows

Nice to have

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform/OpenTofu or CloudFormation
• Experience with front-end development
