nWhat you'll do

nIn your new role, you'll engineer and maintain innovative, customer centric, high performance, secure and robust solutions.

nYou'll be working within a feature team and using your extensive experience to engineer software, scripts and tools that're often complex, as well as liaising with other engineers, architects and business analysts across the platform.

nYou'll also be:

• nProducing complex and critical software rapidly and of high quality which adds value to the business
• nWorking in permanent teams who are responsible for the full life cycle, from initial development, through enhancement and maintenance to replacement or decommissioning
• nCollaborating to optimise our software engineering capability
• nDesigning, producing, testing and implementing our working code
• nWorking across the life cycle, from requirements analysis and design, through coding to testing, deployment and operations

nThe skills you'll need

nYou'll need a background in software engineering, software design, architecture, and an understanding of how your area of expertise supports our customers.

nYou'll also need:

• nAt least four years of experience in DevOps which includes managing and administration of Gitlab or any other Source code management tool
• nExpertise in managing and administration of Artifact management tools like Artifactory/Nexus
• nExposure of managing and administration of CI tools like Teamcity/Jenkins/ GitLab
• nExposure of managing and administration of Code quality analysis tools like SonarQube
• nExposure on maven, node, python pipelines
• nGood understanding of agile methodologies and able to work in the Sprint/Kanban model
• nExposure on any monitoring tool like DX-APM, Log Monitoring tool like Splunk
• nAwareness on LINUX/UNIX to debug the issues
• nUnderstanding of Change, Incident Management principles along with exposure to ServiceNow or any other ticketing platform
