The team is responsible for driving the architecture, design and governance technology roadmap for the Group.
Cust Risk Assessment PACE is responsible for the world leading application of technology and operations across every aspect ofCommBank, from innovative product platforms for our customers to essential tools within our business. We also use technology to drive efficient and timely processing, an essential component of great customer service.
Impact & contribution
Lead the Case Management Capability in providing flexibility to meet the needs of Case Management projects, offering services from the bottom (infrastructure/ software) to the top (business casing/ POC/ solutioning) or individual expertise (design/ built/ test/ run).
The Case Management Platform owner must maintain and build productive relationships with the following individuals:
Customers of the Case Management Platform.
Architects
Delivery teams
Business Unit (BU)
Resource Managers
Vendors and third party suppliers
Roles & Responsibilities:
Partner with builder and operational teams in a BU to adopt SRE principles and practices via direct contribution to the application and infrastructure codebases of the services that these teams are accountable for.
Develop robust processes aligned with strategic tooling which improves the observability of CBA's key products and services in our large-scale and complex environment, and which allows a team to quickly identify and address reliability risks which impact our customers.
Identify and implement automation opportunities to drive down the operational toil and reduce the technical debt associated with the services that a team is accountable for.
Support the 24x7 online environment of our critical services through participation in on-call rotation and escalation workflows.
Influence the application and infrastructure designs and architectures for the services that a team is accountable for, as well as contributing to standards and guidelines for large-scale distributed systems with a focus on operability.
Accelerate and standardise the adoption of SRE across the Group's services, infrastructure, systems and processes by developing and supporting frameworks and tooling which teams can leverage via our inner source community.
Essential Skills:
Minimum 4 years of experience
Knowledge of AWS services including but not limited to Aurora DB, EC2, EKS, EFS, EBS, Route53, ALB, CloudWatch.
Have built observability solution using Prometheus, Grafana, Observe, Fluent Bit
Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Octopus, Argo CD, Helm
At least one programming language Python, Java, .NET
Education Qualifications
Bachelor's degree/master's degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
