nWere looking for a Senior Software Engineerto join Procores Product & Technology Team. Procore software solutions aim to improve the lives of everyone in construction and the people within Product & Technology are the driving force behind our innovative, top-rated global platform. In this role, youll join our highly collaborative Product and Engineering organization to drive the technical direction of our authentication platform for millions of users and thousands of integrations.

nWhat you'll do:

n

• nContribute significantly to the architecture, design, and development of Procores authentication platform

n

• nBuild underlying application platform features that enable customization and platform extensibility by users, first or third party developers, and our application teams

n

• nContribute to core initiatives at Procore as well as independent innovative technical projects

n

• nUse a collaborative approach to lead development of key features and functionality

n

• nDevelop teammates by conducting code reviews, providing mentorship, pairing, and training opportunities

n

• nServe as a subject matter expert in a domain, including processes and software design that help guide others to create and maintain a healthy codebase

nWhat we're looking for:

n

• nBachelors Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or comparable work experience

n

• n3+ years experience combined in Programming, Saas/ PaaS applications, Frontend + Backend engineering, Test Driven Development and Architecture Design principles

n

• nProfessional experience with GoLang, Ruby/Ruby on Rails or Java

n

• nProfessional experience with modern authentication systems ( OAuth, 2FA )

n

• nTrack record of anticipating technical problems that will fall out of major projects and designing solutions to overcome those problems

n

• nDemonstrated expertise with building and/or significantly improving large features, support technological areas, and architecture initiatives

n

• nExperience in working and developing APIs through REST, gRPC, or GraphQL

n

• nExperience in different datastores ( relational , non-relational )

n

• nExperience in event driven architecture ( kafka, rabbitmq )

n

• nTime-honed expertise with modern web and backend development across the entire spectrum of development, testing, staging, deploying, and monitoring
