We are currently looking for a dynamic and motivating individual to fill the position of Software Development Team Lead. Our software development methodology is inspired of IEEE, SEI and CMM standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Plan, manage and coordinate the software development team's activities;
- Act as the technical resource person and participate in the various activities of software applications development lifecycle;
- Coordinate/collaborate with various departments of the company and clients involved in software development;
- Follow up and manage schedules to ensure deadlines are met and deliverables are compliant with established budget and quality assurance objectives;
- Participate in software development activities;
- Test and identify improvements to existing applications;
- Collaborate with team members on quality assurance efforts in validation and certification;
- Participate in the evolution of the quality system of the company and ensure its proper implementation within the software development team.
Requirements
- MTech in computer science, software engineering or equivalent;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development and relational database management systems including SQL Server, and a least 1 year as a team lead;
- Master software development methodologies including UML and Agile;
- Master the development within Windows .NET platform (including WPF and WCF);
- Excellent knowledge of the development of desktop client/server applications and web applications;
- Good knowledge of software development standards like SEI, CMM, ISO;
- Good experience in project management.
