As a SDET you will be an integral member of the product development. In this role you will work with application server and client developers to design test automation suites for various products. Required Skill Set & Experience
- Software test automation experience for servers and mobile applications
- Excellent Core Java skills using at least Java 1.7
- Extensive Experience with test automation tools like JMeter, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of data structures, algorithms and design patterns
- SQL skills and relational database knowledge
- Comfortable with Linux development environment
- Must be a self- starter with strong leadership qualities.
- Should have the ability to work well with aggressive deadlines and minimal supervision

Job Description / Responsibilities
You will work with other leads and developers to :
- As a SDET, you will identify Test scenarios and write Test scripts w.r.t the current feature in an application
- You will be responsible for automation of testing and prepare scripts to test the system for load, performance, stress, security and reliability etc.
- As a SDET you need to understand the requirements, algorithms, flow of the code and about how it interacts with all other components.
- Write separate utilities or specialty test tools for automation, security or performance testing of a project.
- As a SDET should possess excellent debugging skills in order to find out the reasons behind the failure of test cases, inefficient code, memory leakages etc. in order to improve the quality of the code.
- As a SDET you will also responsible for breaking the code i.e. finding a bug in an application, reporting it in a Bug tracking system and also regress it once the fixes are received for it.
- Perform White- box testing of the code, developing robust test framework to test the boundary conditions as well.
- As a SDET you will report all the testing activities on day to day basis.
Desired Profile
- Experience with test automation, mobile games testing automation and load testing of highly complex systems
- Experience with distributed (multi- tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases
- Also desired:
- In- depth knowledge of scripting languages like shell / Perl is highly desired
- Experience with event- driven and asynchronous programming - frameworks such as Akka
- Experience with Hazelcast will be an added plus
- Good to have exposure to NoSQL database
- Knowledge / exposure to building bots for testing networked games is a plus
