Responsibilities
Partner with product and engineering teams to review system requirements and technical design documents.
Create, design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts.
Empower the entire engineering team to write tests and maintain them in the system you ve built
Devise test strategies to adequately cover requirements.
Develop high-level test scenarios.
Conduct testing, maintenance, and validation on all software products.
Perform regression testing and debugging.
Ensure stability through our CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications:
4+ years of SDET or QA Engineering experience.
4+ years of experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium testing Web Apps, Mobile Apps, APIs.
Experience installing and deploying Cypress and/or Playwright framework for UI or API testing.
Hands-on experience with cross-browser compatibility testing of web applications.
2+ years experience using Postman (or equivalent) and creating collections.
Experience with Agile methodologies and knowledge of Scrum and Kanban.
Knowledge of JavaScript ES5 and ES6.
Worked with development teams using Angular / Vue / React.
Have worked with TestRail and/or other Test Case management systems; created test reporting harnesses.
Hands-on experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
2+ years of experience using bash, Groovy, and YAML configuring continuous integration.
1+ years of experience with Source Control Management systems such as Bitbucket / GitHub.
1+ years of experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
Experience managing dependencies in Artifactory.
Comfortable in the terminal.
Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools.
Can take abstract ideas and form POCs with partial documentation.
Familiar with the Atlassian tools suite, mainly Jira and Confluence.
Expert knowledge of writing technical documentation/defects and issues
Working with network proxy tools.
Demonstrates debugging technique in IDE of choice for any flavor of JS.
Collaboration with business units and can translate engineering to BI needs.
