Job Title: Test Engineer

Describe the main Purpose of Role:
- As Test Engineer will contribute to various phases and activities of the software testing process in product development.
Candidate must be willing to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, team environment, the engineer works with tech Lead, software engineers, internal partners, and stakeholders
- in implementing the vision of Central team in development of web applications to run on our platform/Website.
- A strong focus should be given to quality of the final product, delivered in a fast-paced environment.
How will you know if the person is successful in the job List their Key Responsibilities:
Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products
Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
Monitor debugging process results
Support engineering managers in executing Central Teams creative vision.
Keep a track of latest technologies in the market and incorporate them as a part of deliverable execution.
Team player with good communication skills to keep entire team united and motivated.
What competencies and experience will this person need in order to be successful in the job Make a list of the Knowledge & Experience & Skills that will make them the right candidate:
Proven work experience in software quality assurance
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
Hands-on experience or exposure with automated testing tools
Hands-on experience testing SOAP/REST endpoints using SOAPUI or browser plugins
Familiarity of applications used for mobile testing like BrowserStack
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
Ability to think outside the box and find solutions.
