Role Overview:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will:
- Be proficient in creating and maintaining test scripts.
- Be passionate about delivering high-quality software products.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure the robustness and performance of our applications.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 4+ Years of Proven work experience automating test cases for web applications.
- Must have experience in creating different testing strategies and plans.
- Proficiency with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, TestNG or similar.
- Experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins, CircleCI or GitLab CI/CD.
- Deep understanding of REST APIs and Web Applications.
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing automated test frameworks.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experience with API testing tools.
- ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
Test Automation Development:
- Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts for various applications.
- Identify test cases suitable for automation and enhance the existing automation framework.
Test Execution and Reporting:
- Execute automated tests, analyze results and report findings to the development team.
- Generate comprehensive test reports and documentation.
Framework and Tooling:
- Maintain and improve existing test automation frameworks and tools.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance test automation.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with developers and product manager to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Participate in design and code reviews to understand feature requirements and identify automation opportunities.
Continuous Improvement:
- Continuously improve the efficiency and coverage of automated tests.
- Stay updated with the latest industry and best practices in test automation.
Defect Management:
- Track, report and manage defects in a timely manner.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure defects are resolved efficiently.
