You ll spend time on the following:
- You will take full ownership of the technical aspects of our global Merchant Platforms & related infrastructure, ensuring that the platform is being used to its fullest potential through designing and building applications around our Merchants needs.
- You will Design/Develop/Migrate/Maintain a myriad of Merchant backend applications and services for AWS Cloud & Kubernetes environment.
- You will collaborate within the team and outside teams in the organisations to ensure that required business features, high performance and cost-effective solution are implemented effectively.
- Build service artefacts, estimate and plan for deployment, coordinate timeline and tasks with project management and teams.
- Improve service stability and performance by identifying critical service specific metrics, setting meaningful alerting thresholds, and automating alerting responses.
- Drive the discussion and decisions on technical topics related to the team s scope.
We re excited about you if you have:
- BE/BTech or ME/MTech degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering from a recognised institute
- 6+ years of industry experience in developing and supporting web applications, micro services and troubleshooting internal and external requests / bug reports in distributed environment.
- Strong coding skills in object-oriented programming languages like Java.
- Strong problem solving, debugging skills, data structure and algorithms fundamentals.
- Must have experience with REST API based development of micro services, relational databases (MySQL or Postgres), ORMs
- Exposure to asynchronous messaging platforms like ActiveMQ, Kafka is plus.
- Good communication and collaboration skills and ability to deal with ambiguity.
