Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer I with a focus on front-end development to join our team. As a Frontend Developer at Phot.AI, you will play a key role in designing, implementing and maintaining user interfaces for our web- based applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that provide an exceptional user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality, responsive user interfaces for web applications using modern frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Reactjs,nextjs).
- Collaborate with designers and backend developers to translate UI/UX designs and requirements into functional front-end code.
- Ensure pixel-perfect implementation of UI designs.
- Optimise application performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, identify areas for improvement and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency in React.js and its core principles.
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux).
- Knowledge of Fabric.js for canvas manipulation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in frontend development and propose innovative solutions to enhance our products.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues and provide timely resolutions to technical problems.
- Work closely with product managers to understand user needs and contribute to product planning and feature prioritisation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Solid understanding of frontend web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency in responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to non- technical stakeholders.
- Passion for learning and staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- 2 + yrs of experience with frontend build tools and package managers (e.g., Webpack, Babel, npm).
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with backend technologies and RESTful APIs.
- Previous experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
