What you'll be doing
- Working closely with the UX Designers and backend engineers to build a highly engaging UI that predicts and exceeds user expectations.
- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
- Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
- Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
- Partnering with the product management team to understand user needs.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and accepting new challenges
- Work closely with the leadership team to drive the product roadmap
What we are looking for
- Proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
- Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux)
- Experience with framework like Material UI
- Familiarity with newer specifications of ES6+
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, NPM, etc.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, active git profile is a plus
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related stream
