As a director of software engineering, you will apply your extensive knowledge of software architecture to lead software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or crafting software applications, platforms, control plans and databases. You will drive feature and technology roadmaps, build enhancements within an existing software architecture and envision future improvements to the architecture.
Qualifications
- Experience building innovative, highly scalable data processing systems on cloud services.
- Deep expertise in design concepts and technologies within the data processing space.
- Successfully delivering and operating software products globally for large number of customers.
- Demonstrated achievement of operational excellence within the engineering organization leading to high customer satisfaction.
- Well versed in security and compliance of cloud-based applications and services, implementing appropriate security controls and monitoring solutions to protect critical data and mitigate risks.
- 5 plus years demonstrated ability leading software engineering teams

What You'll Do
- The director position will lead teams responsible for building and modernizing population health applications and solutions for health care organizations.
- You will manage teams and organizations that design, implement, and operate sophisticated clinical systems.
- Assist in the development of short, medium and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives.
- Own an always on culture on the team. Your products and services will operate systems on a global scale with high resiliency and operational metrics.
- Responsible for leading design and implementation details around next generation forward chaining rules-based system to drive non-ML guide systems and rules building user experiences.
- Work closely with product managers, architects, and developers to build application engineering infrastructure enabling wide scale clinical application development on the OHDAP platform.
- Drive wide-scale engineering technical programs that cross platforms, customers, and technologies.
- Drive development processes, automated testing strategies, development tools and continued developer efficiency processes.
