OCI Logging Analytics provides a unified platform to search, browse, and analyze log data to deliver quick answers on structured and unstructured log data. We are looking for creative and motivated engineers, who have experienced the product engineering lifecycle and have faced and solved performance requirements in large scale solutions, to help forge the path by working with a high profile team, offering the opportunity to work with the latest technologies in an environment that encourages big ideas and radical new approaches.
As a senior member of our Logging Analytics Processing team, you will participate in the parsing, analysis and enrichment of log data using technologies such as database transaction management, web services, Kafka/streaming services, etc. You will build products in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. You will solve complex and interesting problems in the area of distributed computing and large scale system design, and in storage of structured log data in fast performing search engines. Our group has some very hard and interesting problems to solve in the area of configuring large systems and analyzing large amount of data in real time where data collection spans millions of customer servers and applications across the world.

What You'll Do
- Work closely with development and product managers to design, develop and test new features for our service
- Design novel solutions for efficiently querying terabytes of log data
- Architect and build user-facing and platform features to scale our service further
- Automate the configuration management and deployment of our services
- Work with various teams to translate prototypes and ideas into real-product features
- Evaluate a variety of machine learning and big data analysis technologies
- Balance new innovation and adapting it to already released cloud services
Qualifications
B.S, M.S, or Ph.D in Computer Science or equivalent
4+ years experience in the industry
Programming languages: Java, SQL
Experience With The Following Areas Is a Plus

Development of searching infrastructure
Statistical and data analysis
Open source technologies for development and management
Cloud technologies
Full product/service development and operations lifecycle
