About This Opportunity
DB Developer-Azure Data Factory Work to develop high-quality database solutions and work to Review and interpret ongoing business requirements.
What you will do
- Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures, functions (UDF, Windows etc)
- Design a pipeline using Azure Data Factory.
- Develop solutions using dynamic SQL scripts
- Develop procedures and scripts for data migration and data integration
- Investigate exceptions about data anomalies
- Data interrogation
- Understand source data systems in order to research/report on requests
- Analyse existing SQL queries for performance improvements
- Recommend new/improved data queries
- Ensure all development is documented so it can be referred to, updated, shared, and is fit for purpose
- Actively participate in knowledge sharing across the department
- Take responsibility for our SQL project tasks (when assigned) and deliver in a timely manner with an excellent data quality
- Assist with ServiceDesk ticket queues to resolve user queries
- Work with users to determine detailed, and accurate requirements
- Ensure all issues and service requests are accurately recorded in the IT ServiceDesk system
- Ensure the Change management process is followed
- Other duties as are within the scope and spirit of the job and the title of the position that may arise from time to time or as required by management
You will bring
At least 5 years experience within a SQL development.
- 4 years hands-on experience with Azure Cloud (Data Factory, Blob, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Key Vault, designing a pipeline)
- Microsoft SQL Knowledge (Hands on Experience)
Azure Cloud ( VM, Webjobs, Synapse, Logic App)
Azure Data lake (Hands on Experience)
Azure Data factory (Hands on Experience)
SQL Dynamic Queries. (Hands on Experience)
SQL - Complex Stored Procedure (Hands on Experience)
