The Software Engineer is responsible for designing, coding, and testing applications. This position requires the ability to complete Java development both independently and as a team. Creative thinking and troubleshooting skills are required as this role also includes the support and development of Cerner Profiles application and a variety of integrations and add-ons. The Software Engineer will need to work closely with other team members and provide input into functional design, testing, and troubleshooting.
6 years - 10 years of software development experienceExperience developing and debugging in Java.Knowledgeable with the development of application and database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)Integration experience with HTTP/S, HTML, SOAP, XML, and REST, Web Service designExperience in Angular JS, JQuery, React JSExperience with the lean-agile development methodologyGood communication skills

As a member of the software engineering team, you will use basic knowledge of Java software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging , troubleshooting or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture.
