We are seeking a Software Developer (IC3) with 4 - 8 years of relevant experience in UI technologies to contribute in our Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) team. In this role, you will work independently on well-defined tasks, implementing improvements to existing features and contributing new functionality to the web interface for OCI customers. You'll write clear, maintainable code, collaborate on design efforts. This position is ideal for a developer with a foundational knowledge of cloud-based systems who's looking to grow in a supportive, fast-paced environment. You will receive guidance on critical topics such as prioritization, testing, and operational best practices, allowing you to make a meaningful impact while expanding your expertise.
Expertise and experience developing web applications using React, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, Webpack, CSS is required. Experience with Preact.js/React.js, CI/CD tools and interfacing with JSON REST APIs are also required. Experience with container-based deployment (e.g. Docker). Familiarity with designing and implementing form-factor independent UI. Working experience within a Linux-based environment will be desirable.
This individual should be highly organized, self-motivated, and possess the ability to work independently, as well as work with project managers and peers to understand requirements, document designs, and build and unit test software components.
