We are seeking a hands-on Senior Software Engineer that shares our passion and excitement for operating distributed systems at hyper scale using cloud native best practices.
Java development experience is required. Other recommended tools and technologies may include: Rest APIs, Maven, Jenkins, Ruby, Terraform, JAX-RS/Jersey, OAuth/OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and React JS, among others. Demonstrated understanding of cloud native architecture and experience with either AWS or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure(OCI) is desired. Experience with identity and access management concepts would be very valuable but is not required.
Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineering is building the next generation of health care platform using cloud native solutions to provide a superior patient experience. The platform and control plane build foundational building blocks that make up the stack and services to manage environment lifecycle events. IAM Engineering is responsible for R&D, focusing on leveraging open standards and interoperable technologies to make the infrastructure as agile and adaptable as possible. We are focused on the crucial topics of identity and security--how to identify the various people, devices, and systems that make up the cloud; how to allow them to securely communicate with one other; how to track what they do, etc.

As a Senior Software Engineer in our team, you'll be responsible for, and lead efforts in, designing and building scalable, distributed, and resilient software components and services to support our health care platform and the users it serves. We believe in ownership and expect you to think long term, mentor, and empower other engineers. As a technical leader on the team, you will own the complete software development lifecycle, from design, development, testing, first class monitoring, to production.
