Responsibilities
As a member of the Solutions E2E validation team, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be applied during testing and inspection to access product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods.
In This Role You Will Need To:
- Develop and document test cases and test plans based on requirements, specs and/or user stories.
- Define and document test plans for new/existing components with diverse scope and increased complexity.
- Participate at requirements reviews, design reviews, system analysis and facilitates the testing review process.
- May lead the requirements or design effort as they relate to testing.
- Review test plans, test cases and test scripts of other team members.
- Document all issues found during manual or automatic testing so they can be easily reproduced by the development team.
- Create automated test scripts and shares with team.
- Ensure that standards for production components are followed.
- Support improvements in overall quality results using statistical measurements and tools. The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Minimum 6 years of experience
- Test Automation and UI testing experience
- Detailed understanding of test design and a variety of test techniques
- Proven technical knowledge and skills including:
- Selenium
- API / Webservices testing
- Unix/Linux Operating systems and scripting languages
- Experience in a quality assurance capacity on a Scrum or other Agile team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work with virtual and geographically dispersed teams to develop/test software
- Good understanding of multi-platform testing experience
