Full Stack Application Developer - Health Sciences Global Business
Oracle is looking for a Senior Applications Engineer to be part of Health Sciences Group in Bangalore, who will design, develop, test and deploy enterprise applications in the cloud. Successful candidate will be a technology champion, customer oriented, results driven and passionate about building great products and solutions used by big pharmaceutical companies. He/she should be experienced and hands-on, with the ability to assess different enterprise systems and propose adequate and efficient solutions to prevailing problems so as to improvise/improve them on non-functional and architectural aspects. He/she thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to be involved with real business problems.
Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional team members from Architecture, Product Strategy & Development, QA, Sales & Services, and other Central teams to architect and design multiple products
- Design, create and maintain the full stack (front end and back end) of customer facing cloud native application.
- Help create and review system and software requirements.
- Help foster good software engineering practices.
- Follow relevant company procedures and help create and maintain relevant documentation.
- Actively participate in all aspects of the software engineering process.
Qualifications And Experience
- BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of development experience on Java platforms, including UI stack, database, and cloud applications.
- Expertise in Java, Advanced Java (Collections, Threads), J2EE technologies, and frameworks such as JaxRS, JPA, JDBC, and web services paradigms like REST.
- Proficient in RDBMS, preferably Oracle.
- Strong working knowledge and understanding of modern MV* frameworks such as Angular, React/Redux, Knockout, Preact/Typescript/VDOM, JQuery and Oracle JET or similar MVVM Architecture frameworks.
- Skilled in creating responsive UI elements using hand-coding techniques (grid or flex box layout) or leveraging frameworks like Foundation.
- Experience with Tomcat, Docker, Kubernetes, and Grafana.
- Experience working with cloud services and modern cloud technologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively as a great team player.
- Experience with agile methodologies.
