Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Social Studies Teacher at Discoveri Oaks School. The Social Studies Teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans, teaching world history and social studies to middle school students, developing and adapting curriculum, and fostering a positive learning environment. The teacher will also collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in teaching world history, political science, geography, social studies
• Strong knowledge and understanding of curriculum development
• Excellent lesson planning and classroom management skills
• Passion for education and a commitment to student success
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
• Teaching certification is preferred
• Familiarity with progressive and student-centered teaching methods is a plus
